Sowing Method:
Gently nick the hard seed coat and soak in warm water (80–90°F / 27–32°C), changing water daily until sprouting in 3–7 days.
After sprouting, place in a wide container with 2–3 in (5–8 cm) of heavy loam and cover with 2–4 in (5–10 cm) of water; keep in full sun and 75–90°F (24–32°C).
Refresh water as needed and avoid strong water flow; transplant to a larger pond or tub when several leaves form.
